The church needed additional space for their growing congregation that would blend seamlessly into the existing, historic main sanctuary building. They also needed a solution for handicap accessibility and circulation issues.
MBAJ designed an addition to the church, including a new atrium, fellowship hall with a full-service kitchen, conference room, covered walkway, classrooms, an elevator and stairwell. The highlight of this project is the atrium space created around the exterior of the existing sanctuary. The two-story space features the original exterior's stained-glass windows.
