The vision was to renovate an aging high school to create a “Lantern for Learning." As funds were limited, existing buildings were used to their maximum potential.

To facilitate the vision, the media center acts as the “cornerstone” of the design. Located on the second floor, the space is flooded with natural light from translucent panels located high around the room’s perimeter. New health occupations laboratories serve as a connector between the existing lower level building and the new media center wing.
