| Cannon School is an independent, college-preparatory school located in Concord, North Carolina. During this project, MBAJ's work was three-fold: 1) development of a comprehensive masterplan; 2) fast track construction of the cafeteria/kitchen and auxiliary gymnasium; and 3) construction of the new upper school to serve grades 9-12. A key concern of the client was the site placement of the new, two-story upper school and the design of its collegiate image. The cafeteria/kitchen and auxiliary kitchen were strategically placed between the existing schools and the new school. |
