This facility, the result of a partnership between the Johnston County Economic Development Corp., Johnston Community College, N. C. State University, N. C. A&T University, Johnston County Schools, Novo Nordisk, Talecris Biotherapeutics, Inc. and Hospira, will strengthen the county’s biopharmaceutical and biotechnology companies by developing a skilled labor force for these industries.
The building, parking and access roads occupy approximately seven acres, preserving the wetlands, an important research tool for the students and staff. |
